Special, one-time or weather dependent events are often represented on our calendar of events as a “Pop-Up Event” with details to be posted closer to the event on our Facebook page.
Family Friendly Pop Up Events:
These are special events that the whole family can attend! Held throughout the year these are social events that allow participants to gather and engage with one another. Previous events include, our Bubble Bash, sledding at Oakdene Park, summer BBQs and more!
Morning Pop Up & One Time Events:
Morning Pop Up Events are typically for parents or adult participants. These events are used as an opportunity for participants to learn a new skill, recipe for enjoy a holiday themed workshop. Parents are welcomed to bring there young children or babies to these programs, parents can participate with their child or have their child watched by staff.
Kids Only Pop Up Events:
These special events provide small groups of children ages 6 to 12 with the opportunity to explore their community, engage with their peers and create memorable moments with Kids Action Program while parents enjoy a much needed break. Past events include beach explorations and swimming, sledding, fishing and movie afternoons!
