Family resource programs & home-based support for families in Kings and Hants Counties with children aged 0 – 6 years.

Kids Action Program is part of a national program called the Community Action Program for Children or “CAPC” and is funded through the Public Health Agency of Canada (PHAC).  Kids Action Program offers services that are:  Family-focused, Parent-focused, and Child-focused programs.  Support, Systems Navigation and referrals are provided.  Our focus is assisting parents and children (0-6) who are getting by on small incomes.  Great Beginnings is funded through the Canada Prenatal Nutrition Program (CPNP) and is also from PHAC.  Kids Action Program receives core funding from the province of Nova Scotia to support programs in the community as well.  All our services are confidential.
